Achieving a state of vibrant and holistic health is a deeply personal journey, yet it often raises an important question: Why do some people heal while others do not? This question is at the heart of Qigong and self-healing practices, and it directly relates to the core principles of Consciousness and Qi Medicine, which we explore in our upcoming LifeChanger Program ‘Hunyuan Qi Therapy Fundamentals’ from 7 – 26 March 2025. The discussion below offers insight into the fundamental principles that shape self-healing outcomes, emphasizing the need for holistic balance in the body, mind, and spirit.
Key Principles of the Holistic Health Journey in Hunyuan Qi Therapy
- Healing Beyond the Physical – Healing extends beyond addressing physical symptoms; it requires overcoming emotional and mental barriers. Stress, fear, and emotional blockages often prevent recovery more than the illness itself. True healing reflects harmony on all levels: Physical, emotional and mental
- The Power of Intention and Conscious Choice – A strong, sincere intention to heal is crucial. Without deep commitment, healing efforts may remain superficial. Healing is an active process that requires persistence, an open heart and mind for new beginnings and possibilities as well as trust in life’s flow – using one’s conscious abilities to transform natural principles into a conscious state of well-being, confidence and joy.
- Inner Alignment and Perspective Shifts – Many people claim they want to regain health and well-being, but subconscious fears and doubts create resistance. By cultivating self-awareness and reframing illness as an opportunity for growth and progress, healing can be facilitated through positive transformation.
- Trust, Surrender, and Community Support – Letting go of control and trusting in the natural and conscious process of life is essential. Engaging with a supportive community, such as a Qigong group or healing network, provides encouragement and insight, making the journey less isolating, more meaningful and enjoyable.
- Hunyuan Qi Therapy Practices for Self-Healing – Achieving holistic health is not just about knowledge but also practice. One powerful method, which we will explore deeper in the upcoming Life Changer Program – “The Fundamentals of Hunyuan Qi Therapy” is the Unite Three Dantian into One Meditation, which enhances Qi flow, integration and inner harmony.
Unite Three Dantian into One Meditation
This practice focuses on unifying the three Dantian
- the lower Dantian: representing your physical strength, fitness and vitality – located in the space in-between your kidneys
- the middle Dantian: representing your inner organs and hormone’s Qi related to your emotions – located in the center of your chest
- The upper Dantian: representing your mental strength and vitality as well as awakening your true self to its full potential – located in the center of your head
The meditation aims to unite these three Qi centers into one harmonious flow, enhancing overall vitality and well-being. The steps include:
- Relaxed Posture – Sit comfortably with a straight spine, hands resting on your knees or thighs, either facing upward or downward
- Mindful Breathing – Breathe deeply and naturally, guiding awareness to the upper Dantian (center of your head). To experience this space as an empty, clear, bright, light inner space – leading to cultivate mental stability, clarity and wisdom
- Expanding Awareness – Shift your conscious focus to the middle Dantian (center of your chest), to experience this space as an empty, clear, bright, light inner space – leading to cultivate an open heart for compassion and joy.
- Connecting the lower Dantian – Direct your conscious awareness to the
upperlower Dantian (space between your kidneys, center of abdominal area) – to experience this space as an empty, clear, bright, light inner space – leading to cultivate physical strength and vitality - Move your conscious awareness from the lower Dantian up to middle Dantian, further up to Upper Dantian – dwelling for a while in each Dantian – experiencing an empty, clear, bright, light inner space and cultivating inner peace and a deep state of relaxation
- Repeat this meditation 3-6 times (or more)
- Unification – Visualize the abundant Qi from all three centers merging and harmonising into one bright, harmonious sphere, allowing the Qi to flow freely throughout the body.
- Completion – Rest in stillness, absorbing the benefits of your practice before slowly opening your eyes.
Regular practice of Unite Three Dantian into One Meditation strengthens the connection between body, mind, and spirit, supporting deep healing and transformation holistically.
